The SEM manager, also known as SEO/SEA manager, is responsible for developing your company’s digital reputation by promoting your website on Google and other search engines.

Responsibilities

  • Développer la notoriété digitale de son entreprise
  • Créer et mettre en place des campagnes de promotions digitales payantes
  • Veiller constamment sur le SEM et sur l’actualité
  • Définir une stratégie de référencement sur les moteurs de recherche actuels
  • Mettre en place des actions de référencement sur les différents léviers (SEO,SEA,CMO)
  • Adapter les stratégies et détection de nouvelles opportunités
  • Évaluer et suivre le budget pour maximiser les campagnes mises en place
  • Mesurer des KPI’s (CPC, CPM, etc.)
  • Coordonner et gérer des agences digitales
  • Manager des équipes opérationnelles

Required Skills

  • Very good knowledge of search engines and how they work
  • Advanced knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO), paid search (SEA) and social networking (CMO)
  • Mastery of analysis tools
  • Fluency in calculations and in-depth mastery of spreadsheet software (Excel),
  • In-depth knowledge of acquisition methods (CPC, CPM…) and attribution methods (first click, last click…)
  • Mastery of analysis tools (Google Analytics, Xiti, etc.) and tagging tools (Tag Commander, Google Tag Manager, etc.).
  • Knowledge of specific SEO tools: Google Adwords, Google Search Console, SEMrush …
  • Fluency in professional English

Average salary

Salaries are influenced by a number of factors, such as years of experience, seniority and company structure, all of which determine pay levels.

Between €35,000 and €40,000

gross per annum for a junior

Up to around €70,000

gross per year for an expert
