The Data Steward is responsible for hosting the company’s data. They guarantee the reliability, legality, security and relevance of the data they receive.

Responsibilites

  • Collect and centralize the company’s encrypted data
  • Ensure proper cleansing of stored data
  • Ensure data archiving and storage
  • Ensure proper deletion of data
  • Create processes and procedures as well as access controls to monitor compliance with RGPD and established company rules
  • Ensure that there are no conflicts (duplicates, obsolete data, poorly established data or data that does not comply with established rules) with other data elements

Required Skills

  • Expertise in database management and query language
  • Advanced skills in the application of statistical tests and analysis methods
  • In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, C++, Scala
  • Knowledge of database solutions (SQL, NoSQL…)
  • Strong expertise in data warehousing and ETL tools
  • Excellent command of data visualization tools
  • Good knowledge of data mining and analysis tools

Average salary

Salaries are influenced by a number of factors, such as years of experience, seniority and company structure, all of which determine pay levels.
