Pedagogical objectives

The “BTS” Computer Services for Organizations (SIO) SLAM option enables students to acquire specific skills in the development and management of software applications used by organizations.

The main objectives are as follows:

  • Design, develop and maintain software applications tailored to user needs.
  • Analyze user needs and propose IT solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Participate in the design and development of databases used by applications.
  • Ensure the quality and security of the applications developed, by carrying out rigorous tests and integrating development best practices.

 

In addition to these option-specific objectives, “BTS” SIO students will develop cross-disciplinary skills such as communication, teamwork and project management. These skills will enable them to adapt to constant technological change and actively contribute to IT projects within organizations.

In conclusion, the “BTS” SIO offers students a comprehensive and versatile training in the field of IT services. They will be ready to take up the challenges of the professional world, and meet companies’ needs in terms of IT systems management, development and maintenance.

 

On completion of this course, you will be awarded level 5 professional certification in “”BTS” – Services Informatiques aux Organisations : Option B” « Solutions Logicielles et Application Métiers »” registered with the RNCP by order of April 29, 2019.

This “BTS” SIO (Option SLAM) program is design to accommodate student to work in the development and logical management for organization. The lessons cover technical, methodical aspect and communication needed to exercise function in the numerical domain.

Admissions

“BTS” admission is carried out according to the following conditions :

  • Year 1: Baccalaureate or equivalent
  • Year 2: Bac+1 or equivalent

Admissions to EEMI are subject to successful completion of an oral interview, tests and assessment of academic records.

To apply, you must go through Parcoursup if you have a baccalaureate or are reorienting after obtaining your BAC.
